Brittany’s fun personality is as vibrant as the colorful streaks in her hair. I really enjoyed working with her on senior portraits. She also answered my “3 things” questions and I loved her answers.

Brittany enjoys writing and takes her journal everywhere, so we incoraporated it into her senior portraits.
Sarah and Josh’s wedding reception at the Buchanan Club of Ross-Ade Stadium was nothing short of perfect. Their wedding ceremony took place earlier in the summer at Yosemite in California where Sarah and Josh live and they came to Indiana to celebrate their marriage in a place where their love first began. Having met at Purdue in the Computer Science department and both being alums, the setting for the party was perfect. While Purdue doesn’t quite match the outdoor beauty of Yosemite, you couldn’t tell as soon as Sarah and Josh step foot on campus in their wedding attire. They seemed to make everything surrounding them more beautiful. Sarah exudes classic elegance and Josh was about as dapper as a groom can get. We had a quick hour together for photos before the reception began, but I easily could have spent an entire weekend with them in front of my camera.
I’m crazy about parasols, so when Sarah and Josh showed me the ones they brought with them for the photos, my photographer heart skipped a beat.
When it was time for the reception to begin, Sarah, Josh, and their guests were very fittingly transported by the Boilermaker Special. As soon as the guests had made their way inside, a hail storm began and the lightning and thunder was amazing to watch from atop of the stadium (“Hail Purdue!” is the official Purdue fight song as Sarah’s mom pointed out, so even the hail storm was fitting for the day! 
)

I’ve been wanting to feature more of my engagement and wedding work on my blog and since Becky and Justin are getting married tomorrow (!!!), I figured it would be a great time to share a few images from their engagement session. We headed out to the country to photograph this session almost a year ago. It’s hard to believe how fast time flies! I’m really excited about their wedding!!
