The last time I said “Vote for Me!” I was in middle school, running for Secretary of the student council. Maybe my aim wasn’t set high enough for Student Body President, but that’s probably a good thing because I totally lost…big time. Or at least it felt like big time since I was in middle school and everything tends to feel like it’s pretty major. I don’t remember all the details, but, I do remember I had an awesome slogan/logo (an ’S’ with a little 3 beside it, like “S-cubed” because my maiden name started with an S) That description does not give it justice, so you’ll have to trust me that it was awesome. Needless to say, a loss like that was pretty crushing for a middle-schooler and, thus, my political career came to a screeching halt.
Today I am once again asking people to vote for me because I’ve been nominated as a finalist for Best Photographer in the Journal & Courier’s Reader’s Choice Awards. I don’ t have any slogans this time and if I lose I will not be as crushed as my middle school self once was (ok, maybe just a little
), but I would sincerely appreciate your vote. You have to complete at least 3 categories under each topic area (which isn’t hard because Lafayette has so many amazing local businesses) and fill in that weird little word at the bottom in order for your vote to count! Voting is fun!
Since we all know that a blog post is incomplete without a photo, here’s a sneak peek at a senior I will be featuring soon:

I hope y’all are having a great day!! Thanks in advance for your vote =)
