Leslie + Ryan

Leslie had been in the midst of planning her May 2009 wedding to Ryan when they received news that Ryan’s National Guard unit would be deployed to Afganistan the very weekend they were set to wed.  After an initial and understandable panic, Leslie and Ryan decided to move the wedding up to next Saturday.  We met a couple weeks ago for an engagement session at Happy Hollow Park

Leslie and Ryan, the two of you are a fantastic couple and I am so looking forward to your wedding next weekend!

Austin & Brin

Austin and Brin are twin senior guys who I had the opportunity to photograph in September for their senior photos.  Both of them are so funny and they kept me in stitches the entire shoot.  I was laughing so hard that I had to be careful about my camera shaking.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Here’s Brin, looking deceptively serious in the this shot:

And his brother Austin:

Alex at 9 months

My regular blog readers have seen little Alex grow up on my blog– In September, I met up with him again for his family shoot and his 9 month portraits.  Here are a few of my favorites from his 9 month session:

The whole family– Even Decky!

 Wheeeeee!!!!!

Alex is becoming quite the piano prodigy :)

Next month is Alex’s 1 year session!   I can hardly believe how time has flown!

Kathryn + Chris

Kathryn and Chris are clearly meant for each other.  They light up when they are in each other prescence, which these days, unfortunately, is not a lot because Chris is living in North Carolina.  So when Chris was back in Indiana for a weekend to see Kathryn perform in a play at Purdue, they used the opportunity to get their engagement portraits taken.  They are such a fun couple, as you can see from these photos, and I can’t wait for their wedding next year:

Laughter is important in any relationship and Chris and Kathryn kept each other laughing the entire shoot.

AJ

I met AJ last month at his family’s farm for his one year old photo shoot.  He is quite the sweetie pie, as you can see :)

AJ had a blast riding his horsie…

Until he grew tired of it…

Luckily, Grandpa was on hand to cheer him up.  Notice his shirt says “When I grow up, I’m going to drive a tractor like my Grandpa!”  I’m almost positive that tractor will be a John Deere  :)

This was the last shot of the day and AJ was still being super cooperative!

AJ, you are a sweetheart and it was so good to meet you and take your photo!

—–

Just a friendly reminder, while everyone is out enjoying the beautiful weather we’ve been having here in Indiana, make sure you VOTE!!!!!
